The will of Thomas King the Elder of Nash, Gentleman, mentions his wife Sarah and three sons Thomas, George and William. The will was proved in 1771.
Child no. 3 John 'son of Thomas King of Nash and Sarah his wife' was buried 16/08/1736
Child no. 5 Matthew died 21/08/1742
Child no. 6 William was buried on 2?/02/1747/8
The baptism record of Sarah, daughter of Thomas King, 12/03/1726/7 does not give the mother's name and a burial date has not been found. The baptism date is chronologically only one month before that of John. There is no Sarah mentioned in Thomas King's will. She could possibly have been the child of another Thomas King.
Sarah King, wife of Thomas King, left a will dated 17th May 1778, proved 25th September 1778. She left all her household goods, money and personal estate to her grandson John King, son of her son Thomas King.
