Elizabeth Wake married Ambrose Thatcher on 03/07/1739 at Speen in Berkshire.
Ambrose was baptised on 12/02/1711 at Chiseldon, Wilshire. He was buried at Hungerford on 17/01/1799. The burial record for Elizabeth says that she was the wife of Ambrose.
They had three children
Ann baptised 08/04/1740 at Welford, Berks.
Mary baptised 10/12/1749 at Welford, Berks.
William Wake baptised 08/07/1753 at Welford, Berks.
Elizabeth had a brother, William Wake, who became the 7th Baronet of Riddlesworth in Norfolk. When he died in 1765 he left a will which states
"I give and devise unto my sister Elizabeth Thatcher wife of Ambrose Thatcher of Shefford Woodlands, near Lambourn in the county of Berks farmer one annuity or yearly sum of ten pounds for and during the term of her natural life for her sole and separate use....". Sir William also left a sum of £100 to the daughter of Elizabeth and Ambrose Thatcher but did not name the daughter "I Give and bequeath unto the Daughter of the said Ambrose and Elizabeth Thatcher at her Age of twenty one years the sum of One hundred pounds"
