John Tanner, child number 4, married Jane Hunt on 23/11/1837 at Chippenham Parish Church. After John's death in 1852, Jane married Matthew Spiers in q2 1854. She is referred to as Mrs Spiers in the letters to Joseph Alderman when she dies at the age of 98 in May 1899.
