The Bromham baptism records for Aaron and George say "son of Ambrose and Mary of Heddington"
Note that the Cleverly family is very prolific in Calne. Further progress without the Baptism record for Ambrose is unlikely. His baptism was not found in the Calne St Mary Register. Likely candidates for his parents are Thomas who married Jane Weeks in Calne on 23/07/1749 and John who married Eleanor Webb in Calne on 23/02/1752. Three baptisms of the John and Elinor marriage were found in Heddington - but no Ambrose.
Mary Ruddle's parents are unknown. Other Ruddle's in the Calne area at the same time are Honor, Ann and Edith. These may provide a lead.
