ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

George Cleverly was born at Heddington and baptised at Bromham.  He was employed on the Bowood Estate in Wiltshire and lived in the Boat House on the bank of the lake there. (I don't have a date for this)

His second marriage was to Sarah Jones on 20/08/1859 at Derry Hill.  The marriage certificate says "George Cleverly widower married Sarah Jones".  His father is given as Ambrose Cleverly, labourer.  Sarah's birth date is 1815/16

With the exception of Sarah, Thomas and Aaron all the children's baptisms were at St. Mary P.C. Calne.  Sarah and Aaron were baptised at Derry Hill village.  Thomas was baptised at Derry Hill on 26/05/1844
