On the 1871 census at 8 Richmond Place, Bath  with his mother (the whereabouts of his father is unknown)
By the time of his marriage the family were living at 24 Richmond Place

Emily
At her birth the family lived at Ham Gardens
On the 1861 census this is shown as 1 Ham Cottages 
By 1871 the family had moved to 8 St James Street, Bath and were here at the time of her marriage

After their marriage
The baptism record for their first child indicates they were living at 8 Morford St, Bath in 1880
By the 1881 census they were living at the Pawnbrokers Shop at 15 Bath Street.
Emily continued to live here as a housekeeper after Richard's death as recorded on the 1891 census.
By 1901 she had moved with her family to 22 Victoria Road, Twerton, Bath
